Essential cookies
These are needed for the site to work and are always on:
- a session cookie to keep you signed in;
- a security token (XSRF-TOKEN) that protects forms from being submitted by other websites;
- cc_cookie, which remembers the cookie choices you made, so we don't ask again on every page.
None of these track you across other websites.
Embedded media (optional)
Artist profiles can include players and maps from YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify and Google Maps. Those services may set their own cookies, so they only load if you allow them, either for all embedded media in the cookie banner or one service at a time from the player itself. Until then you see a placeholder instead.
Payments
When you make a payment, Stripe may set its own cookies as part of secure checkout, under Stripe's policies.
Usage statistics
We count things like profile views and searches so we can see what is working. This sets no cookie of its own; see the Privacy Policy for what is kept.
Your choices
You can change your mind at any time:
We keep a record of each choice made (which categories were allowed, and when) so we can show that optional cookies were only used with permission. It is tied to a random id stored in your browser, not to your IP address. Each record is deleted after 13 months. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, but the site may not work properly without the essential ones (for example, you may not stay signed in).
